Description

A choice and extremely hardy variety with beautiful white flowers in early spring and very sweet and large berries in June and July; Alberta variety, large yield, extremely versatile shrub for edible landscapes; some suckering with age; self-pollinating. Beautiful vivid orange ro red fall color.

Care Instructions

Prefers a moist, well drained, slightly acidic soil. Add moistened peat moss to the planting area and backfill soil when planting.

Fertilize in spring with an all purpose fruit tree fertilizer prior to new growth or topdress with compost. Prune to remove broken or damaged limbs.

Saskatoon berries will begin to bear fruit at 2-4 years after planting. Can be grown in part shade.
