Can be grown in part shade.
Fruit is large and purple blue in color. A sweet, juicy, firm berry that ripens from June to July. Beautiful yellow fall color.
Prefers a moist, well drained, slightly acidic soil. Add moistened peat moss to the planting area and backfill soil when planting.
Fertilize in spring with an all purpose fruit tree fertilizer prior to new growth or topdress with compost. Prune to remove broken or damaged limbs.
Starts to produce fruit a year after planting.
