Slow growing/compact. Thorny branches with small, yellow spring blooms and golden foliage mature to orange-hued foliage darkening in fall and shiny red ornamental berries which last over winter. Drought tolerant once established in a moist, well-drained soil.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly as needed. Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth. Prune in spring for more compact growth.
