New mottled pink, red, green and white foliage matures to deep maroon. New upright, thorny branches arch with maturity. Small yellow, mid-spring blooms mature to bright red ornamental fruit in fall. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Excellent hedge plant.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly as needed. Feed in early spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to the new growth. Prune in spring for more compact growth.
