Description

Prairie Sensation is a hardy, Canadian bred apple. The crisp and juicy fruit is red on yellowish green in colour. It ripens mid August to mid September, can be stored for up to three months and is great for eating fresh and cooking.  Like all apples, Prairie Sensation needs another apple variety or crabapple in close proximity for cross pollination to set fruit.

Care Instructions

Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. When young, prune to create an open centered branching to allow for even light throughout the tree. This allows even ripening of fruit. Prune broken or damaged limbs.
