Description

.Norland Apple is a small tree that is commonly grown for its edible qualities. It produces high yields of chartreuse round apples (which are botanically known as 'pomes') with a red blush and white flesh which are usually ready for picking from late summer to early fall. The apples have a sweet taste and a crisp texture that is excellent for fresh eating. Requires a different apple for pollination.

Care Instructions

Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. When young, prune to create an open centered branching to allow for even light throughout the tree. This allows even ripening of fruit. Prune broken or damaged limbs.
